clients by providing reasonable accommodations as needed.

We realize that building a safe, supportive and healthy therapeutic relationship with our clients is
our duty and we will do my very best to cultivate this in every client interaction.

We align myself with compassion to provide each client with the highest quality of care, based on
informed consent and promotion of health and well-being. All therapies are optional, and clients
will be educated and invited to make their own decisions regarding their health care.

We maintain a professional attitude and appearance that is clean, hygienic, HIPAA compliant and
appropriate to the context of the interaction.

We will not treat clients or regions of a client’s body that are contraindicated for massage and may
result in harm.

We uphold healthy boundaries by honoring the client-therapist relationship and halting any sexual
behavior/words/gestures. It is our responsibility to keep the therapeutic space free of sexual
energy.

We take personal responsibility for our actions and arrive on time, clean, present and available for
each client. If our emotional, physical or mental state prohibits us from being fully present with
our client, we will reschedule the session to an appropriate time.

We will be trusted to perform treatment only within my scope of practice and training. We will actively
refer out to qualified professionals for mental health, morbidities, chronic illnesses, acute
illnesses, etc that are beyond our scope.

We will continue to educate myself through continuing education and research related to emerging
conditions/to meet the needs of our clients, within our scope.
